Every weekend, between 10 am and 6 pm there will run a free boat ride between Plażą Romantyczną (at Rychnowska Street) and the Plażą Wilanów.
The ride is free as announced by municipal officials – will run as needed, there is no need to register earlier. The wooden motorboat can take 12 people. The round-trip takes approximately 10 minutes. Bikes can be taken on board.
The holiday ferry Wawer-Wilanów was launched for the first time two years ago. – It has enjoyed enormous popularity in previous years, so this year, during the holiday season, it will also combine the Wawerski and Wilanów banks – said the vice-mayor of Wawer Leszek Baraniewski.
Residents of Warsaw can also take advantage of free cruises on the route Czerniakowski Port-Plaża Romantyczna. However, you have to book a place in advance. You can do it at the Czerniakow Port (if we are going towards Wawra – one-way cruise lasts about one and a half hours, starts at 8:30 under the Bailmanate on Solec) or on the Plażą Romantyczną (the ferry starts from the beach, the cruise also takes one and a half hours).
You can also make entries via the internet. For security reasons, the organizer reserves the right to cancel rides in the event of unsuitable sailing conditions with the possibility of booking a course for another free time.
Free ferries across the Vistula
Between the banks of the Vistula, you can also cross four free ferries: Pliszka (Poniatowski Bridge – National Stadium), Słonka (Czerniakowski Promontory – Saska Kępa), Turkawka (Nowodwory – Łomianki) and Wilga (Podzamcze-Fontanna – ZOO). The courses last a few minutes one-way.
