How many buses in Warsaw arrive on time?

Miejskie Zakłady Autobusowe, one of the largest carriers in the capital, in a special report boasted that 96.9 percent of buses arrive on time.

The municipal company published a “Report on Sustainable Urban Buses” a few days ago. Each page is a card and a summary of recent years at MZA. A bit about investments, a bit about employees. It is also about environmental protection and social campaigns.

The punctuality information could not be missing. According to the company, as many as 96.9 percent of buses in 2017 arrived according to the timetable. – The indicated number results from the research carried out by the Public Transport Authority – says Adam Stawicki, spokesman for MZA.

The calculations are performed by traffic supervision staff. In the case of MZA, 390,000 measurements were carried out last year. The value given by MZA is corrected punctuality, not taking into account delays resulting, for example, from impediments after an accident. Without correction, the punctuality is 91 percent.
