Skatepark, outdoor gym and parkour. In autumn, residents of Warsaw will benefit from a new place for recreation in the heart of the capital.
The zone will be built directly under the roads of the Świętokrzyskie bridge. They will be available for most of the year, regardless of the weather.
The Town Hall points out that the new urban sports space will be easily accessible to Varsovians thanks to the good communication with the rest of the capital. The Copernicus Science Center subway station is just next door, and several lines stop at nearby bus stops.
“In order to guarantee high quality and meet the needs of physical activity enthusiasts, the Management of Zieleni Warszawa successfully involved in the project substantive partners representing local groups of activists of recreational disciplines in the form of Parkour United associations and Szaber Bowl” – claims the city.
As it reminds the town hall, the general contractor of the next section of the Vistula promenade – on the section from the height of Tamka to the Świętokrzyski bridge – is Skanska.
