Ziggi Point Review

Warsaw Local visited Ziggi Point, Pańska 59, 00-830 Warszawa on 3rd February 2016

Ziggi Point claim to be famous for their burgers, we have big burger fans here at Warsaw Local, so we just had to check it out!

Finding the location

In all our reviews we use the Palace of Culture and Science as a point of reference. Ziggi Point is easily within walking distance of the Palace and even if you’re brand new to the city, you won’t have much trouble finding this venue.

And here is a picture of the front of the venue, to make it even easier to spot:

Prices and Menu

The menu was available in both English and Polish.

The prices are pretty much standard for the area. They are not cheap, but they are also not expensive. You’ll find most restaurants with similar styles food that can be found within walking distance are the same price.

I ordered a burger called jalapeno hot and my guest ordered the classic burger.

Our total bill came to: 49zl

Our Personal Experience

Quality of food and Waiting time

We visited Ziggi Point on a Sunday afternoon (about 16:00) and there were two other tables occupied, so we could easily seat ourselves without having to wait.

After placing our order we waited a reasonable 10 minutes. The kitchen has an semi-open style to it, so you can see your food is being freshly cooked.

My guest ordered the classic burger:

It came nicely presented and with fries. The amount of fries is pretty small, but when you pick up the burger, you’ll understand why. These are heavy burgers, the sign of a good quality piece of meat! The bun was slightly toasted and the lettuce was fresh and bouncy.

I ordered a burger called jalapeno hot:

Again, it was nicely presented with fries. I loved this burger! It had everything I enjoy, spicy peppers, bacon, sauces and not too much veggies. The peppers were more about flavor that spice, but still provides a polite kick without being too overpowering.

The bun was toasted and with seeds on top. The bun was not too thick to make it unmanageable to eat with yours hands.

The service was pretty standard, the waitress took our order politely, but only returned to remove the plates as we were leaving. Not much else to comment on.

Decor and Atmosphere

Ziggi Point as a cool vibe to it. It wouldn’t feel out of place in a trendy area of London or New York.

As the place was pretty empty, there wasn’t much of an atmosphere to comment on, but there was a large screen that was placing a tennis game. It was something different, but I personally found it a little distracting. If you’re a big sports fan, or you’re planning on eating alone then this might be a good spot for you.

Language barriers

I was able to place my order by pointing at my selection and the waitress did response back with what I pointed at in English, but there was not much in terms of communication after that. This is a ‘fast food’ style restaurant, but it would have been nice to have been asked if everything was OK.

Room for Improvement and things to note

The food was good, the ingredients tasted of high quality and the menu is very varied. There is a little something for everyone.

Ziggi Point does get busy at lunch time through the week as it is very close to some major offices. This is something to beware of.

Overall, we enjoyed our visited to Ziggi point. We would recommend this as a great place to stop by for a quick bite and a few beers with old friends.
